I got some very interesting news at the CCA (California Chiropractic Association) convention last weekend.  I spoke with a vendor who told me about a California lawsuit in which several retailers and manufacturers of fish oil are being sued for prop. 65 violations.  Independent testing has shown high levels of PCBs in several fish oil products.

I have recommended fish oil as part of a healthy lifestyle and in particular as a supplement that can help to reduce inflammation.  I have also recommended purchasing only products that meet high manufacturing standards and do not contain high levels of mercury, lead, or PCBs.

Please take a look at the new tab at the top of our home page: "Health News" for the press release regarding this lawsuit.

While at the convention I found an interesting EPA product that does not contain oil, does not have any issues with contaminents and is absorbed 50 times better than fish oil.  I'll be letting you know more about this product as I continue my research.
